The 2nd Parliament of the Union held Wednesday, in Nay Pyi Taw, the 4th day meeting of the 17th regular session. It reported conclusions and report on the 2nd bill amending the Act on Public Debt Management. The COVID-19 Economic Relief Program was explained by a union-level official, and reported by Parliament.
The concerns to be borrowed from ADB for the COVID-19 response and cash assistance program of 250 million USD and JICA’s 15 billion Japanese Yen for the Phase-3 growth project for small and medium-sized enterprises were also explained. Paragraph by paragraph, the parliament requested approval for a national library bill.
Union-level officials explained the conclusions and analyses and debates about the 2018-2019 fiscal year’s annual national initiative and union budget results. Parliamentarians also addressed the issue of a USD 180 million loan from ADB for a project on water sufficiency in Yangon.
