The 2019-2020 Academic Year Family School Day was held on Tuesday at Nay Pyi Taw.

Su Yadana Tun, student at Nay Pyi Taw (6) BEHS-2, said: “I received my first award in the central level Mathematics Competition. Thanks to my teachers ‘ good training, I won this success. I do what I’ve learned from school myself at home. I’m really happy and enthusiastic about winning the prize.
Department of Basic Education, Tin Maung Win, Deputy Director General, said: “Parents are children’s closed teachers, and they have to train them for versatility. We are then sent to the second place to train them. The third is their own generation, known as the group of peers. The next culture is the library, television, radio, the journal, etc. There is also a place for religious institutions to learn. Beside these areas, there is education in all the surroundings that children seek their learning. Thus it’s up to everybody to be versatile for a child.
To order to develop a new talented generation, the Government is initiating the process of reform of education. The Vice-General Manager added that teachers play an important role in effective education reforms.
“We’re undergoing training reforms and this year is the fourth year,” said Deputy Director General, Department of Basic Education, Dr Tin MaungWin. Next year, new grade 4, grade 7 and grade 10 resumes will be available at the same time.
Teachers from elementary, middle and high schools must take part in summer training in order to implement the new curriculum. School Family Day events have taken place since 1998 to build the human resources that can help create new and developed nations, to help young people grow and maintain the traditional traditions with a strong sense of community, to encourage educational activities through the creation of excellent educational opportunities. Only if they are effective will we be successful in the process of education reform.
